Growth multiplies complexity. Not all of it is worth keeping.

Complexity compounds faster than the value it creates.

The most underpriced lever: knowing which part of it is your moat.

Growth changes the rules quietly. Most notice it when they’re already at the ceiling.

A company that has outgrown its architecture doesn’t announce it. It shows up in decisions that pile up. In people who are excellent at what they do but somehow don’t quite fit the direction you’ve chosen. In the feeling that the stakes keep rising while your grip on it all quietly loosens.

Or — seen from the other side of the table — in a founder working harder than ever and moving slower than ever. In a management team that looks competent on paper but performs below what the model assumed.

The ceiling looks different depending on whether you’re building the company or pricing it. The company is already at it. The question is what happens next.

What I do

I work in English and Polish, across CEE and beyond — with founders whose ambitions aren’t bounded by their home market and with investors whose mandates aren’t either.

I don’t offer a fixed service. I offer a dedicated form of collaboration calibrated to what the situation actually requires.

Executive Partnership

For the founder who feels the company is starting to manage them, rather than the other way around. Executive coaching, mentoring, and business sparring in whatever proportion the situation calls for..

Strategic advisory

When a decision is too important to make on the run. Enough analysis to make sense. No more.

Interim management

When a decision is too important to make on the run. Enough analysis to make sense. No more.

Fractional management

When the company already needs C-level decision-making in a specific area, but a full-time hire is still too early.

Longer engagements — including interim and fractional roles — develop where the situation calls for it and the fit is right.

Founder 2.0

a video series for founders navigating the transition from builder to leader.
Twelve episodes on the decisions, dynamics, and architecture that determine whether a company scales — or stalls.

Scaling Readiness Assessment

Before or after a transaction. It's not a reference check of founders and key team. It's a read of whether the people leading the company are equipped for what the investment thesis requires.

Portfolio Company Work

When a portfolio company has a structural challenge that can't be solved by capital or by the GP's bandwidth, e.g. management team calibration or founder transition. Project-based engagement.

Portfolio Company Governance

A board seat in a portfolio company where the investor needs someone at the table who reads the founder, the numbers, and the room. Continuous engagement.

Long-term Cooperation

If you need someone continuously in your corner — not for a transaction, not for a project, but for the complexity that doesn't fit a brief.
The nature of that work is, by design, not described here.

About me

Founder. Operator. The person the capital trusted.

My name is Agnieszka Jórczyk.

I’ve built companies — leveraged, cross-border, including a market with no infrastructure for what I was trying to do. Not all of them ended the way I planned. The ones that didn’t cost real money, time, and trust. I count that as part of growth, not a counterargument to it. The first attempt is rarely the crown jewel. What matters is what you carry forward.

I’ve sat on boards across the full capital structure — including a company that reached a global #2 in their industry. Three mandates across technology and real estate, FT1000 and mid-market.

I’ve held interim C-level responsibility in structures where the work went beyond the numbers — to the hardest calls about who should lead, and what comes after.

For almost a decade, I worked as the operational and strategic right hand to one of the largest private capital owners in the region. Not brought in for individual transactions. Continuously responsible — for key assets, for structure, for decisions that couldn’t wait for a committee. The kind of engagement that doesn’t come with a formal title because the trust required to do it doesn’t either.

I read a company from many angles simultaneously — integrating in real time, past the story each side believes about itself, and getting to the facts. Then interpreting them through every lens I’ve sat behind. I’ve been on enough sides to know where the differences live and what they actually mean for value creation.

What others say about me

I've worked with Agnieszka for years — on projects where scale, speed, complexity, and sensitivity left no room for error. Every time: no ramp-up time needed, systems thinking, delivery. And critically — she knows when to say directly that something isn't worth doing. One person, many roles, always at the level required. You can trust her with the hardest problems and still sleep at night. I recommend her without hesitation.

Agnieszka has an exceptional eye for what doesn't belong. She'll spot and expose the weak points in any argument, giving her team a real edge. Her experience outpaces people with decades more on paper, and her approach to problem-solving is anything but conventional. A brilliant thinking partner and sparring partner when you're searching for the right business model.

Krzysztof Mędrala CEO Origin TFI S.A.

Agnieszka knows what she's doing and means what she says. She can step into a complex, multi-threaded situation almost immediately — the kind with business context that takes months to absorb, where there's no room to improvise. She gets across both quickly and without fuss. She sees the full picture, connects the dots fast, and knows instinctively where it's worth going deep and where it's a waste of time. You can trust her with genuinely hard problems — and she fully earns that trust.

Bartłomiej Pióro Board Member IIIT sp. z o.o.

Agnieszka is a financial wizard! Her deep expertise in finance, coupled with her strategic thinking, played a pivotal role in our successful projects. Her ability to analyze complex financial data is truly impressive. Working with Agnieszka was a great experience. She excels in investments and has a knack for identifying opportunities that others might miss. Agnieszka's proficiency in financial restructuring is exceptional. Her interpersonal skills are equally remarkable. Agnieszka's soft skills are as strong as her financial acumen. She's a fantastic communicator and always maintains a positive attitude. It was a pleasure to collaborate with her.

Values

Truth > Comfort
Hard problems don’t yield to kind words. They yield to courage to call them by their name and do something.

Foundations > Narrative
A compelling story about a weak company is still a weak company.

Exploration > Template
Ready-made solutions were built for someone else’s problem. Yours may be different.

Decision > Analysis
Complete information is a luxury. A good decision under incomplete information — a skill.

Upgrade > Fixing
What stopped working isn’t necessarily broken. Sometimes you’ve simply outgrown it.

Impact > Control
Control feels safe — until there’s no longer enough of you to control everything that matters.

Action > Intention
Good companies aren’t built on good intentions. They’re built on what actually happens.
