When scaling their business, many founders find it increasingly difficult to keep up. Many of them, staring bleary-eyed at a screen at four in the morning, ask themselves: “Am I really still managing?” <\/p>\n\n

This isn’t a bad week, a moment of weakness, or a question of competence. It’s a change in the rules of the game that happened quietly in the background. <\/p>\n\n

At a smaller scale, you made decisions<\/strong> quickly, intuitively, often alone. Today, their number and consequences are completely different. What used to be your edge is becoming an increasingly narrow bottleneck<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Involvement in details used to be the foundation of growth speed. Today, that same involvement means responsibility<\/strong> returns to you faster and more often than it should. <\/p>\n\n

What was once a startup culture<\/strong> formed naturally. Today you increasingly hear “it’s not what it used to be.” Silence in the team<\/strong> doesn’t always mean calm, and conflict<\/strong> isn’t always personal. <\/p>\n\n

The absence of processes<\/strong> used to mean flexibility. Today, it’s mainly a source of uncertainty and hours lost on duplicating the same work. Effort doesn’t always mean actual accountability for results. And trying to sort all of this out sounds like a direct path to corporate rigidity<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Back then, a few simple numbers were enough to know where you stood. Today, those same numbers can contradict each other<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Conversations with investors<\/strong> used to be focused on potential. Today, it feels like navigating a minefield. <\/p>\n\n

This isn’t a list of shortcomings.It’s a map of a stage change. An upgrade plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

And that’s good news. Since it’s not a weakness, but an upgrade, you can go through this change consciously. Without giving up on yourself or your ambitions<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Because strategies that worked in one game, may not work in another, even if the game is played on the same board.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
